Krishn: the man who lived like God

Following are a few excerpts from the book.

Page 282.

Love is not at the mercy of reasons. It survives in a spiritual halo. The more enlightened you are the more your love expands.
Those in love have high expectations from thei.

Page 279.

There's a vast difference between being alone and being lonely. We often mistake one for the other which influences our interpretations.

Page 280.

Lonelyness is a part of human nature and nobody is free from it. Those who come to terms with it, slowly begin to enjoy it, they relish those moments and are at peace. Its only when you come to terms with being alone that you emerge complete.

Page 258.

Life itself is full of contradictions. There are multiple images of the same moment which are interpreted according to our changing perspectives.

Page 257.

To love is not to possess.. to desire for their happiness and endeavour for the same is also love.

There is no controlling over desire.

Page 252.

Time to linger over goodbye's is over.

Waiting is futile. To wait everyday, every moment for something is not living but yearning.. instead of forever waiting to receive something, it's better to accept ones every breath as an extension of life.. that would be truthful and meaningful.

Those who live today, in the hope that something may transpire tomorrow, will live tomorrow in the hope of something transpiring the day after. They fail to live life abundantly because they are rooted in future, ignorant that tomorrow and day after will be an identical exercise.. Whatever has to be will be and will happen in the present.

Its the one without hope who doesn't mind ending his life today.

If I am granted all the powers of the cosmos or even half the power of the heavens, there is no guarantee that I can wipe away the worries of all the angels.

Is freedom from life freedom from yearning?

Page 240.

Doubts are born when expectations arise above affection.

Page 238.

Most of what troubles us is self-created.

Love is a flower which blossoms for anyone at anytime.

It has no trappings and comes without pressures.

We are so cautious that we refrain from and are willing to accept a life without love but are unwilling to accept someone we love to be in love with someone else

Page 237.

If we look for specific identities in men and women, men thrive on ego and women on envy. They both are an active and passive emotions of each other.

Page 234.

Radha: the only thing I know is that I cannot live without you..
Krishn: life is consistent my beloved, it continues to flow like a river. Sometimes with pristine, sparkling water and other times with muddy and mucky waters. But the flow does not stop, whether I am there today or not tomorrow.

Page 234. Radha: without you, everything will be desolate and lonely here.
Krishn: I'll always be here and eternally beside you..

Our journeys are a process of our minds.. in reality, there's no such thing. What exists is a time span of our journey from one point to another and its this journer we call our identity.

At this moment, we are lost into each other but the moment before and after are moments consumed in travel. Every moment of our existance is gradually leading us to our departure. End is inevitable. The only question is when.. that's the only question we don't have an answer for. If we did, our journey's would never be as interesting or challenging.

Page 233.

Radha: are you going somewhere? Leaving? Krishn: yes, I've to move ahead and I've no right to turn back. I am time and I can't look back even if I want to, Radhike. Even if you want to. R: I don't follow your complicated conversation. In any case, you have always done what you wished to. Have you ever lived thinking about others? Whatever you believe in, becomes the truth and whatever you follow becomes duty. K: I accept I am independent as only an independent individual has the freedom of choice. I depart because I wish to and came here because I had no other option. The one who is independent is also responsible. He's responsible to liberate others as only a free soul can grant freedom to others. If I get bound what will happen to the others suffering? I know you are not self centered and I cannot be so because I am detached from self. jatkar | 11/25 at 10:32 am

Bound by promises, I am helpless. I am bound by time and my time is running out. Today its your time to leave, Someday it will be mine, and I'll depart too.

Page 231. It is my misfortune that I'll never greet the morning sunlight looking into your eyes said Krishna.

My mornings are destined for someone else replied Radha

Page 232.

Krishna: your eyes are damp
Radha: that's because you look at me with moist eyes.
K: will you cry when I depart?
R: would you be pleased if I did?
K: is it possible for me to rejoice when you are in tears?
R: that's how it has been all these years Kaanha.. you harass me, make me cry, hound me.. isnt that harassment? K: that was.. just a game.
R: and what is this? K: this is reality. R: sometimes its a game and other times reality. Where do I fit in to all this? K: you are a part of me and therefore a part of my games as well as reality. What I cannot experience directly, I live through you!
