Clemency

Patience eventually runs out for everyone as the mind labels it a test to qualify for mercy. Should the need arise, one shouldn't hesitate to demand attention instead of expecting it voluntarily. 'Realizing' in itself does not guarantee any corrective action. The only good coming of it is the knowledge gained.

Providence demands a sacrifice even if it arises out of a sense of duty. Depending on it does not lead to any form of immunity from accumulated karma. Although, doing penance out of guilt is known to save one from retribution, it does nothing to prevent time from repetation.

It is thought that 'cause' is followed by 'effect' and is presumed to be a universal law. Being in the very nature of things, to be understood, it is very difficult to wrap one's head around anything which defies conventional wisdom. Yet, science continues to be evolving around evidential proof and not historical myths. It's a different story, that legends continue to survive the ravages of time.
