Addiction

How can one get attached to things? Talk to them, feel for them? And yet, not care for things which are not things? As in alive stuff?

The idea of an addiction does not arise out of ones desire to be enslaved. It forms out of something as simple as free will. "Why can I not do it and still live a good life?" is the basis of everything one can get addicted to. It can be the amount of salt you use in food to the thoughts which create the hell for you to the bliss that some OTC med can give.

Its the natural desire to break free of the shackles which can be imposed on a mind. Why does a truly, completely, blissfully happy man never get addicted? I believe they cannot.

Since the basis is now defined, coming out of it should not be seen as forming further shackles as the mind will obviously try and out gun it in some way form or the other. Coming out of it should be nothing but providing that freedom an empty mind without a purpose craves for. Its all about simple observation of ones own self. And of course, saying yes/no again and again.
