Time and hope

An eternal spring awaits,
A fountain of youth presumes,
A mystical blemish flourishes,
A moment stops.

Heads are rolling,
Hearts are swinging,
Expectations swell,
Presumptions stare in the face.

A choice is made,
The devil inside laughs,
The spring fades,
And the cold shivers of winter bloom.

Hideous intents,
Preposterous suppositions,
Heights of glory ask,
Why must everyone laugh?

Presumed neglect,
Possible negotiation,
Adventurous guilt,
Ecstatic finalé.

Is it you?
Is it her?
Is it Him?
Or was it just me?

Lonely wolf,
Picture this,
Shone through the clouds,
Benevolent moon.

Pricey estate,
Plush green,
Made of heaven,
Soul is clean.

The night dwindles,
Sun arose,
Eye lids are marooned,
Under this time and its hope.
