Idle thoughts

Higher standards can always be better standards, but the best cannot be bested again.

What does success really mean? Where does happiness really come from? Is it a hug from a loved one which makes you forget all things wrong in your life? Is the unmouldable stand you take against everything and everyone which gives you the strength to stand straight and look in the eye while talking? Do you find peace in everything you do and be content or do you stay incomplete trying to search for an elusive concept you are not sure of?

Rain drops fall on the beautiful hills in front filling in the small man made dam and its artificial lake on this amazing evening. Do I really need to be here to marvel at the connection with nature naturally occurring in every soul? If I can find peace and happiness within myself, why does the heart yearn to get away from it all?

The decision to be aloof, helps being grounded and stable keeping away the moping desire to wallow in pity. What that also means is that you'll never be ecstatic or jump with happiness! If you want to keep away the tears, you gotta give up on the laughter.

Good and bad things keep on happening and you wont feel a thing worth any consequence. That's the price to pay for being mediocre. That's what you get for being a zero stuck between the + & - infinity. That's what the mind does. Kills the desire of the heart in its entirety. Makes you a conscious living being with no consequence to life. Like a tree maybe. Except, even trees have a conscious, which has a consequence.

Thank you, for arguing.

The Morris Theorem: "Change is caused by lazy, greedy, frightened people looking for easier, more profitable and safer ways to do things. And they rarely know what they're doing."

Its such a subtle change which creeps up your spine, disabling whatever little cognitive ability existed, for an independent thought to flourish, for an idea to be born, for taking wings..

Someone funnily mentioned the other day -- Know where you're going in life.. you may, already be there! Profound thought, I said.

Didn't even realize I have become a robot. The one without thought, living only to make up for a past full of learnings. Do you exist to live or are you living to exist? Apparently, the only difference between deadwood floating on a river and a boat carved out of wood is the purposefulness of its reality. It is for this reason, and this reason alone, that one must always strive to find out the reason of ones existence. Its a different story about what you do once you find out where you wanna go. For now, first things first.

How real is your life?

Some realizations are just too terrible to have realized.. just as certain revelations are too heart breaking to live through..

Its like how some mornings are too dark to wake up to, you end up wondering if its time for the sunrise yet. You are not too sure if you are awake or in a very real dream.

When life hits you with too many versions of reality, all contrasting the one which you thought was the real life you were living in your senses, you begin to think and relate things. I ended up thinking of the universe and how futile an existence could one possibly have looking at the vast scheme of the universe we think we live in.

The entire Earth and subsequently all of the events happening on it are nothing. Not even deserving a tiny pixel on the immeasurably vast canvas. What good is it to wonder about the victories and the defeats, the triumphs and the lessons of an individual soul? Perhaps it is this, which forces mankind to search for a purpose of life. To feel relevant at a time, when its too difficult to live knowing the truth of life itself.

The only relevance helping the dangerous cause of hope is to believe in an unexplained sensory stimuli tricking our consciousness into thinking its all been worth it -- otherwise popularly known as "love."

Valentines day special

Came across this in an email.

1. My darling, my lover, my beautiful wife:
Marrying you has screwed up my life.

2. I see your face when I am dreaming.
That's why I always wake up screaming.

3. Kind, intelligent, loving and hot;
This describes everything you are not.

4. Love may be beautiful, love may be bliss,
But I only slept with you 'cause I was pissed.

5. I thought that I could love no other
that is until I met your brother8

6. I want to feel your sweet embrace;
But don't take that paper bag off your face.

7. I love your smile, your face, and your eyes
Damn, I'm good at telling lies!

8. My love, you take my breath away.
What have you stepped in to smell this way?

9. My feelings for you no words can tell
Except for maybe 'Go to hell'

10. What inspired this amorous rhyme?
Two parts vodka, one part lime
